Website Design & Development for Kalispel Tribe of Indians

The Kalispel Tribe of Indians is a federally recognized, sovereign government with its homeland reservation in Cusick, Washington. As a tribal government, it serves hundreds of Tribal members, their families, and around 2,000 employees. Through philanthropic efforts, it supports non-profit organizations serving the Inland Northwest. Additionally, the Tribe’s website is a resource for national and international audiences.

KELLYBRADY had the privilege of working with the Tribe to redevelop their websites. Development included subpages and vanity URLs, 9 in total. Key objectives of the project included:

The Tribe wanted a website that closely matched their existing sites. They aimed to reflect the brand’s themes, colors, fonts, and other style elements. They also wanted to keep the existing copy and images but expand the branding. The overall goal was to provide a better user experience.

KELLYBRADY analyzed the sites to determine where to carry out improvements. These improvements had a global impact on the website, reducing excessive scrolling.

We moved the site from WordPress to Craft CMS for better security. The move will also help the Tribe maintain consistency across all businesses. We partnered with IntelliTect to migrate their sites onto the Microsoft Azure Platform.
